A major contract packaging customer in the South Eastern United States engaged ARBO to deliver a multi feeder system for accurate and precise dosing of various ingredients for it's snack and protein bar line.

Ingredients: The customer had dozens of products with hundreds of combinations of ingredients. Oats, cracked bran, puffed rice, chocolate, raisins, cranberries, apples, dried cherries, powdered vitamins and protein, cereal flakes and dozens more. The ingredients were dosed precisely onto a conveyor which delivered them to a twin mixer.

Feeders: ARBO delivered a full 11 feeder line with single and twin auger Gravimetric feeders for powders, vibratory gravimetric feeders for frangible and free flowing materials as well as hybrid models, including the 3DV-100-RU which is an agitated hopper with a vibratory outlet feeder. This is the optimal solution for some of the more expensive ingredients which were the "sticky fruit" in the blends.

Customer Goal: The delivery of accurate weighment of various ingredients for optimum product consistency and meeting its own customers specification.

Results: Nearly twenty continuous years of maintenance free service life for hundreds of formulations and millions of delicious snack bars produced.
